Since this Coronavirus has been with us, I've been in the house staying away from people. I'm retired so I do not need to go out. But staying in has caused me to think about some things. One of them is what has changed from the 1960s to the present.
If this would have happened back in the 1960s, how would we deal with it compared to today? It's kind of interesting when you think about it. Especially if your now old enough to remember the '60s. Self quarantine is not fun. Being stuck in the house all day and night and not going anywhere off the property. But it could be worse.
Wikipedia defines quarantine this way:
Quarantine
A quarantine is a restriction on the movement of people and goods which is intended to prevent the spread of disease or pests. It is often used in connection to disease and illness, preventing the movement of those who may have been exposed to a communicable disease, but do not have a confirmed medical diagnosis.
Yep! That's pretty much it ~
